We have never seen an example like this - a single large diamond that focuses energy to all four corners.

It’s a rare piece and extremely high quality. As with good, early rugs the wool has a lot of lanolin which gives it its lustrous hand and beautiful natural sheen. Le Corbusier believed Moroccan Berber rugs to be such an element of luxury that he described them as practically “flickering on the floor.” The depth and variation of the rich red color in this rug almost dances.
