Jean Prouvé SCAL no. 450 daybed with Charlotte Perriand designed swivel table. AKA ‘Antony’ bed.

Designed in 1952, the model was used in 1955 for the furnishing of the accommodation units of the Cité Universitaire in Antony, France.

Springs are all original with original paint. Swivel table, including swivel mechanism, is completely original, the table top has been lightly conserved.

High density foam, wrapped in muslin and newly upholstered in Pierre Frey GOTS certified black cotton canvas with leather accents. Finished on both sides so can be flipped if desired.

Measurements: 75" length, 31.75' depth, 10.5" height (of base), 15.5” height (with mattress). Swivel table measures 7" height, 17.75" width, 14.25" depth.
